We are seeking a Senior Catalog Quality Specialist to drive Catalog adoption and ensure a consistently high standard of product data quality within their country. This role is critical to establishing the Catalog as the single source of truth for packaged goods, enabling scalable operations, faster onboarding, and an improved customer experience.
You will work closely with local Operations teams to embed the Catalog into day-to-day workflows, while collaborating cross-functionally with external vendors and global teams to steer catalog-related initiatives forward. Acting as the local subject-matter expert on catalog structure, data quality, and compliance, you will guide stakeholders, validate automated and vendor-provided data, and influence decision-making to ensure successful adoption and long-term quality outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
1. Catalog Data Ownership (~60%)
- Review and validate product data from automation, merchants, and vendors before publication
- Maintain high-quality standards for product data grounded in established compliance frameworks and supported by an ongoing commitment to staying informed and updated on local product data regulations
- Resolve duplicate GTINs and support clean deduplication/migration into the Unified Catalog
- Help create and enrich entries for unlisted products based on local needs, using merchant input, vendor data, or AI-generated suggestions.
- Ensure adherence to global attribute frameworks; escalate mismatches to Global Catalog & Data Quality
2. AI/Automation QA (~10%)
- Curate golden datasets for AI model training and evaluation (e.g., for LLMs).
- Audit and approve automation outputs during pilot phases
- Identify local linguistic or structural nuances that impact automation accuracy
3. Stakeholder Support & Feedback Loops (~30%)
- Serve as the go-to expert for catalog data structure, taxonomy, and enrichment logic in your country
- Support local Sales and Merchant Ops in catalog updates and onboarding efficiency
- Provide structured feedback to global teams on catalog tooling, automation, and schema
- Participate in global process pilots, tool launches, and content governance reviews.
Our humble expectations
- 3+ years of experience in catalog/content management, product data QA, or similar fields.
- Experience working with large datasets in spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets is required
- High proficiency in structured data management, with a quality-first mindset.
- Experience working with AI/ML models, QA workflows, or automation processes is a big plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Croatian and English; any additional language is a bonus.
- First project management experience
