What you’ll be doing

The Courier Activation team ensures that the right number of Courier Partners are activated based on each city’s needs,  whether that means engaging newly ready-to-deliver couriers, activating active ones, or re-engaging those who have churned.

As an Operations Associate, you’ll focus on engaging Courier Partners during key moments when additional supply is needed to balance demand; such as undersupply periods, special events, weather disruptions, and city launches or re-launches. In these moments, timely activation is essential to maintaining strong operational performance.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Identifying activation opportunities to improve courier availability across the region, supporting a high-quality experience for customers, Courier Partners, and merchants
  • Owning the end-to-end execution of activation campaigns, from setting up payment rules to crafting and delivering communications
  • Collaborating with other OPS & Support teams and responding to their activation-related queries
  • Contributing to the development and execution of projects that enhance activation efficiency
  • Sharing ideas for improvement with the wider Operations team and across Wolt, including Delivery Operations, Courier Experience, and Product teams

Our humble expectations* 

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills - you will be working with awesome people from diverse backgrounds across countries in the northern region of Europe (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Luxembourg and the Baltics)
  • You have excellent or native-level proficiency in both verbal and written English. Other languages from the Nordic regions are a big plus! 
  • You are strong at working with deadlines and are not afraid of voluminous tasks
  • You are highly detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • You preferably have experience in customer service or similar and are keen to solve problems
  • You are tech savvy and a quick learner
  • You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a high-growth and evolving environment
  • Bonus skills: you are strong at working with data and basic tools (such as Google Sheets) or Iterable
