Our Talent Acquisition team has been on an incredible journey throughout this time too. We’re now a global team of 100+ people, based across multiple European countries, Japan (Tokyo) and Tel Aviv. As part of our phenomenal growth, we are now looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our Japan Talent Acquisition Team, responsible for finding exceptional talent for non-tech focused roles spanning from Sales, Marketing, Operations, Brand, PR & Communications to Finance, Strategy, Legal, People etc.
As a Talent Sourcer, you will conduct deep, proactive research into Japan talent availability, bring market insights, be aware of competitor activity, understand local working conditions/comp & benefits, investigate diverse talent pools and more. You will help strengthen the long-term talent attraction strategy at Wolt, bringing intricate data & insights in current, as well as possible new locations.
Whether you are sourcing for entry level or executive talent, you will bring a scientific
approach to talent identification, adopt a high-touch approach, carefully headhunting talent and offering an outstanding candidate experience, considering each and every candidate as a first class citizen.
Responsibilities
Help to build sourcing team processes, tooling & ways of working, ensuring seamless interaction with recruiting and coordination teams for a slick candidate and stakeholder experience
Identify, search and interest potential Talent for positions all across Japan
Support with hiring kick-off meetings by gathering sample profiles
Participate in hiring kick-off meetings together with the Talent Acquisition Partner
Utilize tools like TalentNeuron, LinkedIn Insights and more, to produce detailed research that informs the talent strategy for multiple roles types.
Partner closely with your TA Partner peers and, aligning on who owns what in the attraction work for shared-ownership vacancies and ensuring a joint-up approach in communicating with your shared customers/stakeholders
Maintain evergreen pipelines for critical-mass roles such as Sales, Finance, HR and Marketing (non-tech).
Lead deep-dive research projects, for example finding and analyzing role specific job, candidate and hiring market data
Build mechanisms for rapid response to volatility in the market, changing direction quickly to opportunistically scoop up top talent from companies announcing slowdowns or layoffs.
Use funnel pass-through ratios (screens to interview to assessments to offers to accepts etc) to calculate sourced volume needed at the top end of the funnel to generate high-quality hires
Contribute to a weekly and monthly reporting with actionable recommendations
Support social media attraction campaigns, in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners
Participate in ‘diversathons’ and ‘sourcathons’ with all hands on deck across TA, everyone in it together to source for the trickiest roles
Stay up to date on the latest AI-based sourcing tools, online & offline events and other opportunities to efficiently attract passive talent
Build a valuable talent networks & communities that Wolt can leverage for long term branding, networking, direct-sourcing and referrals
Get creative on where to find talent for niche roles, using advanced scraping/other techniques to pull leads from multiple online and offline sources.
Be a true talent advisor and competitor talent expert, building deep knowledge of the markets or domain expertise that you support.
Conduct job board applicant CV screenings and ensure they are uploaded in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Help other team members with conducting TA screens where needed
Support in defining the best ROI per channel used for each role
Our humble expectations
Required:
Recruiting agency, inhouse or RPO experience
Deep Recruiting expertise in either a sourcing or research/data analytics capacity
Top notch verbal communication, writing/presentation skills: able to collaborate with TA
English and Japanese reading and writing language proficiency
Desired:
Ability to translate complex data into tangible and actionable insights for partner teams and stakeholders
Creative approach to problem-solving, ideally with demonstrable experience of identifying and attracting talent for niche roles
Partners in defining strategic talent plans that can be presented to senior business leaders, able to bring to life Wolt job opportunities to candidates in a compelling manners
Experience in utilizing social media for pipeline building and candidate attraction
