We are looking for a Strategy & Business Operations Manager, Promotions to join the team. You would look for opportunities to improve the Promotions that restaurants and retailers offer on Wolt - and then put those insights into action in close collaboration with both product and operations. You will help shape our strategy but also contribute to decisions all the way to the lowest level of detail.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking a pivotal role in shaping the future of how Promotions drive our customer experience and topline while providing merchants a great way to grow their business

• Developing and driving our Promotions strategy across 25+ markets, figuring out what kinds of Promotions we want to do, how we partner best with merchants to make it happen, how we embed them into our UX and marketing campaigns, and how Promotions can be leveraged to drive company-level strategic agenda

• Partnering with our Product & Engineering teams to (i) envision how we develop our Promotions tools and UX, (ii) roll-out new capabilities and (iii) optimize how we use the product for best outcomes towards customers and merchants

• Diving deep into our performance metrics, seeking for new levers to boost how our Promotions are designed and offered to our customers

• Collaborating closely with regional organizations and other stakeholders to ensure that we are continuously improving on our execution and adopting best practices

• Working with Analytics to design and run experiments that improve our understanding of what works and help us to drive both business and product development

• Previous business development, B2C pricing/promotions or strategy experience from top tier tech/platform ecosystems, global e-commerce players, management consulting.

• Excellent people skills. In order to make any impact, you need to be able to inspire and convince people from a wide spectrum of backgrounds, ranging from developers to senior management.

• Stellar capabilities in strategic thinking, analytical execution and financial modeling. Excel is a must, but you’ll find SQL and Python/R useful as well

• Drive, ownership and independence. Comfortable working both independently as well as managing a group of stakeholders, often in parallel across multiple topics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Eligible to work in the EU, and willingness to (re)locate to one of our business focal points, e.g. Helsinki, Berlin or Stockholm and visit our Helsinki HQ frequently
