We are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist - Logistics & Pricing to join our Regional Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing platform efficiency and optimizing pricing models across nine countries in Northern Europe. Your work will directly impact task efficiency, platform pricing strategies, and courier supply-demand balance - key elements that define the success of our operations.
This role is at the intersection of data analysis, business strategy, and execution. You will work closely with Global and Regional counterparts to roll out global initiatives while also identifying and executing region-specific solutions that improve delivery economics and operational efficiency.
Enhancing platform logistics & efficiency:
- Identify opportunities to improve task allocation and fulfillment, ensuring our platform operates as efficiently as possible while maximizing delivery experience.
- Analyze barriers to productivity and develop data-backed solutions to streamline operations.
Leveraging data for business impact:
- Analyze operational and financial data to uncover opportunities, build hypotheses, validate assumptions, and execute impactful projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate insights into scalable solutions that improve delivery performance.
Optimizing pricing & supply-demand balance:
- Work closely with the Global Pricing team to analyze and refine pricing strategies that balance supply and demand while maintaining a competitive and sustainable earnings structure for couriers.
- Use data-driven methodologies to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on delivery efficiency and overall platform economics.
Executing & iterating on initiatives:
- Implement global pricing and logistics strategies at the regional level while tailoring solutions to local market needs.
- Drive projects that enhance efficiency, optimize cost structures, and improve the overall courier experience.
Cross-functional stakeholder management:
- Work closely with Global Logistics, Global Pricing, Regional Supply, Regional Quality, Regional Experience teams and local commercial teams to align priorities and drive execution across multiple markets.
- Secure buy-in from key stakeholders and ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives.
Tracking & improving key metrics:
- Monitor and enhance key performance indicators such as Task Efficiency, Courier Utilization, and Delivery Quality through structured problem-solving and data-driven recommendations.
- Provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency and optimize supply-demand dynamics.
Owning & Driving Regional Projects:
- Independently scope, plan, and execute new initiatives to improve delivery performance and optimize operational processes.
- Ensure regional strategies complement global frameworks while addressing local market nuances.
Our humble expectations
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field (operations, analytics, strategy, pricing, supply chain, logistics, consulting, or a related domain).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to operational impact.
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools (SQL knowledge is a plus but not required).
- Experience in logistics or pricing is a huge plus, but not mandatory if you bring a unique skill set.
- Structured problem-solving and critical thinking - ability to break down complex problems and develop scalable solutions.
- Bias for action - a proactive mindset with the grit to drive initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple markets.
