As a Retail Sales Specialist you are part of Wolt’s retail team in a given market.

This role is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial person to enter a hands-on role, being one of the first employees on the ground. In this role, you will also be working closely with your Retail Development  Manager  to  ensure  that  retail partners are supported  throughout  their  on-boarding stages,  as  well  as  with  our  marketing  and  operations  teams  to  help  our  retail partners  be successful. Wolt is growing rapidly and you will be an integral part of this growth story by expanding to several cities in your market and getting more people to experience the benefits with Wolt.

Below follows a brief description of selected tasks and some focus areas for the role:

Establish New Partnerships

• Identify potential partnerships and contact retail partners that are a great fit for Wolt

• Build relationships with identified retail partners and their owners

• Design, develop and implement a sales strategy aligned to our retail partnerships

• Conduct negotiations with partnerships regarding partnership terms

• Taking care for a given region and retail partners in it

Market Analysis

• Evaluate the potential performance of the venue in order to set profitable business terms

• Making sound business decisions while informing your intuition with data

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with our Retail Development Manager to ensure that retail partnerships are set up for success

• Collaborate with onboarding Team Lead on onboarding new retail partners

• In close collaboration with the Team Lead on creating and implementing new plans

• Demonstrable experience from a sales or customer service focused role, comfortable on the phone 
• Experience or strong interest in analytics
• Excellent interpersonal skills - you will be working with a lot of different people
• Experience within account management, customer support or administration is a plus
• Structured, detailed and service-oriented
• Hungry for sales and not afraid of cold calls
• Self-starter and a passion for retail
• Fluency in Slovenian and English
• You are highly motivated and super enthusiastic!
