Role background
Wolt is a Finnish technology company founded in 2014 with a mission to make our cities a better place for our customers, merchants, and courier partners. In the past 10 years, we’ve grown to over 11,000 people across 27 countries.
Having such a diverse range of people in our different teams and countries can be a challenge when it comes to feedback and development. How can we ensure we have the right programs in place so that each person gets the feedback they need to continue to grow?
That’s where you come in.
While we’ve worked hard with our DoorDash counterparts to build the right foundations for our feedback and rewards cycles, we know there are still many opportunities to improve to reach our goal of a continuous feedback culture.
You’ll be tasked with delivering ‘high value and low effort’ programs: starting with our bi-annual feedback and rewards cycles, and then building out the right level of customization for our teams - for example, someone working in our Wolt Market stores may have different needs to one of our engineers.
While the core focus of the role will be effective program delivery, as a member of our ‘small and mighty’ People Development team, you’ll also support and collaborate on other projects throughout the year.
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking ownership of our current bi-annual feedback and rewards cycles and ensuring they continue to deliver success year after year - efficient program delivery is key here!
- Creating, testing, and launching customized feedback cycle solutions for different teams.
- Working cross-teams to develop and roll out additional programs that offer valuable, ongoing feedback touchpoints or development opportunities for our people.
- Evaluating and reporting on the impact of talent management initiatives on key people metrics, such as performance, retention, and engagement.
- Working with our people partners and senior leaders to better understand our changing talent management needs at Wolt, and staying on top of current and future performance trends to find new opportunities for continuous innovation.
Our humble expectations
- Extensive experience running people programs from start to finish - from the initial planning to rolling it out, wrapping it up, and reporting.
- Solid background in HR or talent management, especially within performance management programs.
- Ready and motivated to dive in and get things done (looking for that can-do attitude).
- Strong skills in managing stakeholders, especially guiding senior leaders through changes.
- Comfortable using data to track progress and shape future decisions.
- Focused on creating a great experience for everyone - everything’s built with our people in mind!
- Curious and always looking to grow and improve.
- Experience in tech, scale-ups, or fast-growing companies is a huge plus.
