This position is part of the Workday team within People Tech services. The purpose of the People Technology Specialist, Workday Core HCM is to ensure globally the functional management of Workday HCM (process & systems), in line with the People Tech team, People Tech organization, and standardized ways of working. Other Workday functionality development like reporting and security included.

Workday HCM Release Management and Change Request Management:

• Workday HCM development together with the Workday team and new features impact assessment together with main stakeholders and the Workday team. Participating in development sprints to ensure Workday HCM or other development items are developed and delivered as planned
• Project Management: Organizational changes (new entities, mergers, and acquisitions, divestments, etc.), Leading or participating in Development projects, Change management, and communication towards stakeholders and organization
• Advanced administration and support: functional tickets management, security, global configuration, and reporting within the responsibility area.

• Configure Workday Core HCM to enhance functionalities and meet global organizational needs, including business processes, security, and custom objects.
• Manage data integrity, system access, user permissions, and SOX compliance, updating roles and audit rules as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain system and security processes, ensuring compliance with audit controls and operational effectiveness.
• Administer and report on annual global tasks, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met.
• Proactively seek improvements by analyzing existing Workday processes and incorporating new functionalities.
• Oversee Workday Expense and Change Request management, assessing impacts and coordinating with teams on updates and communications.
• Manage global communications regarding new releases, change requests, and system developments.
• Evaluate regional change requests for scalability and global applicability, considering legal and optimization factors.
• Lead and contribute to Workday Core HCM projects, ensuring they deliver on efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Develop and manage testing scripts, coordinate system testing/UAT, and handle project-related stakeholder meetings.
• Provide advanced Workday support, resolving technical challenges, training team members, and ensuring quality service.
• Create and manage documentation and training materials, handle escalated incidents, and engage with relevant stakeholders for resolutions.
