We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll Support Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team that addresses employee tickets, completes earnings certificates, and delivers payslips to employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and supervise the Payroll Support team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members.

    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that values open communication and continuous learning.

  • Customer Service:

    • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of employee tickets related to payroll queries.

    • Uphold a high standard of customer service, addressing employee inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex payroll issues and enhance overall employee satisfaction.

  • Earnings Certificates and Payslip Processing:

    • Oversee the timely completion of earnings certificates and distribution of payslips to employees.

    • Implement and maintain best practices for efficient and error-free processing of earnings certificates and payslips.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Payroll Support function.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and efficiency.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.

    • Implement corrective actions and provide training to team members as needed.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate regular reports on the performance of the Payroll Support team.

    • Analyze data to identify trends, address issues, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Our humble expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in payroll administration or related roles.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Fluency in German and English is a must.
