With this attitude, we have during the past couple of years launched new platforms in the people team, updated our global way of working model, and undergone many payroll implementations and enhancements. And keep on moving the needle forward every day with new change activities.
Specifically in our global payroll team, we are now looking for a Payroll Operational Excellence Manager, ideally with payroll project experience and an end-to-end understanding of payroll processes also from a technical perspective. Based in Budapest, Bratislava or Helsinki you would design and lead on our process and continuous improvement approaches across all the 30 countries we pay our teammates.

What youโll be doing
- Execute process improvements by leading, coaching, or mentoring the team
- Design a continuous improvement approach for the payroll function.
- Perform continuous analysis of our current processes to design and implement the desired state, with a drive towards automation and integrations.
- Design data-driven data and analytics mechanisms to support real-time identification of gaps and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Taking part intake and prioritization of processes and projects with the Payroll leadership team
- Work closely with our teammates in the Payroll Transformation, HR, and Finance teams in change-related activities, ensuring that the global design turns into local payroll processes.
- Owning your projects as PM and sparring with other change activity owners
- Ensure our new designs fulfill global SOX compliance and all local statutory and legal requirements.
- Support team and stakeholders adapting the new ways of working
Our humble expectations
- Overall, you have a strong understanding of process design and change, with a clear view of what works and what doesnโt.
- Ideally, youโve had exposure and experience in payroll change projects - implementations, either on the vendor or client side, and ideally also in a multi-country environment, or M&A activity.
- You have a technical understanding of common HR and T&A tools and how they contribute to payroll.
- Lean Six Sigma accreditation is considered as a huge advantage.
- A passion for data, process development and technology is a must.
- You have excellent planning, problem solving and time management skills.
- You are a strong communicator, with high working proficiency in English.
- You have the ability to look at matters from different perspectives.
- You enjoy taking ownership and delivering results.
