Wolt Market is growing rapidly and we have ambitious goals. We are looking for an Operations Team Lead to lead a Wolt-version of a district/area manager in the retail industry.
As a Wolt Market Operations Team Lead you'll have ownership of supporting a team Store Managers and together run a world-class grocery delivery operation. Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your operation.
You will be leading everything related to how operations take place and are responsible for finding and setting up targets, optimizing store layout, improving picking and packing costs, ensuring a great user experience and providing leadership to a team of store leaders and grocery associates.
In this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.
What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for the end to end store operations, from fulfillment to delivery in a group of our stores.
- Review the demand forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall store/country objectives.
- Provide day to day leadership and guidance to store leaders and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence - mentor, coach and help their day-to-day work.
- Workforce and Cost Management.
Our humble expectations
- At least 3 years of experience in operations management in retail, distribution, restaurants, or hospitality – a must.
- Experience as a district/area manager in the retail industry – a big advantage.
- Great analytical skills. Excel skills are a strong recommendation.
- Experience of leading teams in stores or in a similar field.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to think and act fast operationally with an eye for detail.
- A hands-on, proactive, practical, pragmatic attitude with resiliency for changes.
