Hey, you look like you might be our new  Junior Account Manager (Restaurant Development)

Sales & Merchant Operations

Copenhagen, Denmark

Full-time

Are you passionate about building strong relationships? Are you excited about driving growth in close collaboration with your partners? Does a varied and challenging role in one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies interest you? If so, then we’d love to chat!

Role background

Wolt has been growing rapidly in Denmark since we entered the market in 2017, and we now partner with more than 4,000 restaurants across over 50 cities. For Wolt, everything starts with restaurants. If there are no restaurants, there are no customers, and if there are no customers, there are no couriers. Thus, restaurant partnerships are a crucial part of Wolt’s success.

As a Junior Account Manager (internally called: Restaurant Development Associate), you will be responsible for a portfolio of 150 local hero restaurant partners. We’re looking for someone who has a true passion for establishing strong win-win relationships and improving key performance metrics to create results for the restaurants, the users and ultimately for Wolt. Your focus will be on making sure your partners thrive on our platform by spotting growth opportunities while providing the tools and support they need to grow.

You'll be an integral part of our collaborative team, where innovation and support define our culture. Together, we foster an environment of shared challenges, successes, and ambitions. Within our dynamic office space, characterized by youthful energy and strong team spirit, you'll find abundant opportunities for growth and connection. With regular engagements such as team meetings, feedback sessions, and cross-departmental collaborations, you'll thrive in an environment that supports both personal and professional development.

And what about our company culture? You’ll probably enjoy it here if you like taking ownership, developing yourself and being around friendly, humble and ambitious people. But don't just take our word for it – see for yourself! Watch this brief video where our colleague Christian shares his perspective on our culture!

As our new colleague, your primary focus will be:

  • Stepping out of the office to meet with restaurant partners (5-10 days travel days per month) and collaborating to build strong and meaningful relationships.

  • Leading strategic renegotiations of commercial terms with restaurant partners, introducing cutting-edge Wolt products and services to expand partner offerings and increase their revenue. (i.e. Wolt+ and Wolt Drive).

  • Assisting restaurant partners in achieving their goals by providing consultation on improvements, quality checks, and creative strategies. Regularly assessing partner performance, prioritising actions to maximise impact, and develop their business with the latest trends and strategies using Looker as our BI tool.

  • Getting feedback from our partners and translating it into improvement opportunities for Product, Marketing and Operations teams.

  • Driving revenue growth, utilizing a data-driven approach to propel revenue growth for your restaurant partners and Wolt.

Our humble expectations

  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of adapting dialogue and negotiations to suit diverse audiences, including restaurant owners and chefs

  • Business Acumen: Display a strong creative and tactical mindset. You have previously identified growth opportunities and driven business objectives forward through innovation and operational improvements.

  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyse performance metrics and business data effectively to inform decisions and improve partner relations and business outcomes.

  • Attention to Detail and Service Orientation: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering superior customer service.

  • Initiative and Ownership: Candidates must show a high degree of initiative and the ability to operate autonomously, pushing projects beyond the initial scope without prompt.

  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Danish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and knowledge of analytical dashboards - for example, Looker or Power BI, preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or account management is highly desirable, with examples of past successes and learnings.

  • Education: University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
