Due to our super fast growth we're looking for a Network Specialist to join our team in Budapest. In this role you will be part of the Global IT Operations team that looks after and plans the new sites. As a Network Specialist, you will mainly be responsible for providing guidance and support for the local teams. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
You will be working as part of the central IT team that are based in Helsinki HQ, but work in close co-operation with the local team in Budapest and other locations. This is a great opportunity to take ownership and be part of building and developing Wolt’s IT operations.
What you will be doing:
- Monitoring the performance of the Network infrastructure and taking necessary action when needed.
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborating with the central IT team to identify the hardware and software requirements for the organization's infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- In cooperation with internal and external resources develop our networks globally.
- Supporting local end-users with IT issues.
- Acting as facilitator with central teams for country specific IT projects.
Our humble expectations
- Cisco CCNP or CMSS or equivalent knowledge and experience in Cisco Meraki networking solutions.
- Prior experience with working in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience working in IT in large organizations and know-how of best practices in IT is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English skills as you will be communicating with the central IT team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an orientation on excellent service
- Quick thinking and the type of person with a “can do”-attitude
- Don’t mind getting your hands dirty
