The Health & Safety team at our company is committed to ensuring the well-being of our employees and maintaining the highest standards of safety in our work environments across Poland. We focus on developing and implementing robust health and safety policies that not only comply with local regulations but also promote a culture of safety and prevention. We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety expert who will lead the charge in enhancing our safety practices and protocols.
We are in search of a professional who will spearhead our health and safety initiatives within Poland. You will act as a critical advisor to key stakeholders across the company, ensuring that we uphold and exceed the health and safety standards required by law and our corporate policies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing health and safety audits, developing and conducting employee training, and leading emergency response strategies. You will manage reporting, risk assessments, and safety compliance, and will be pivotal in driving safety-oriented decisions and actions across all operations.
What you'll do:
- Implementation of tasks resulting from the duties of the OHS service in accordance with the - Regulation of the Council of Ministers on the occupational health and safety service
- Inspections of working conditions and compliance with health and safety rules and regulations
- Conducting occupational health and safety training for employees
- Participation in the process of hazard identification and occupational risk assessment at workstations
- Creating and giving opinions on health and safety documentation (instructions, procedures, regulations)
- Participation in post-accident proceedings and documenting the causes and circumstances of accidents at work and near misses in accordance with the requirements of the law and internal procedures and standards
- Cooperation and communication with all departments to promote a safety culture and take corrective and preventive actions in the area of OHS
- Cooperation with external entities during inspections
- Taking care of benefits in the company
Our humble expectations
- University or post-graduate education in accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers on Occupational Safety and Health Services
- Knowledge of legal matters related to OHS
- Good organization of work, creativity, ability to take initiatives
- Communication skills, ability to work in a team
- The ability to work in changing circumstances
- Openness to development and raising competencies
- Comfortable using English as a working language.
- Must be eligible to work in the E.U.
