This role is a part of our global Merchant Business and Operations group. We are a centralized team providing strategy, direction, and execution support to local teams across our 27 marketplaces across the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Japan. Providing accurate, complete and detailed content describing our Restaurant partner venues and their menu offerings is a critical aspect of creating delightful experiences for our Customers on Wolt. The Global Restaurant Content Operations Manager will play a critical role in building out and scale our menu listing and management processes & systems, and optimizing customer-facing content on our platform.

In the Global Restaurant Content Manager role, you are responsible for the end-to-end management of our listings from creation to optimization. You will be working closely with product, restaurant account management, and operations teams to create systems and processes that will allow us to scale globally. You will have an important role in ensuring a world-class customer experience. Your work will enable not only customer-facing but also operational improvements.

Youโ€™ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.

What youโ€™ll be doing

  • Create the global playbook on creation and enhancement of all restaurant store and menu selection on Wolt 

  • Create reporting tools to help identify and ultimately resolve catalog, offer, and menu errors.

  • Deliver regular communication to global and local teams on status, risks and change control.

  • Ensure that all catalog content-related changes in systems/processes are cascaded and implemented globally.

  • Lead the content management community globally. You will be responsible for cascading and ensuring that best practices and processes are adhered to.

  • Thinking big and working closely with business stakeholders and product teams to define vision, strategy and requirements.

  • Analyzing all the available data, researching for missing information; finding the main pain-points and solving them in order to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Supporting the Category, Operations and Inventory Management functions to improve our selection and drive higher sales and conversion. 

  • Working with local country teams, build and maintain restaurant dish taxonomies that work for each country. To define and curate the global taxonomy & classification and ensure systemic application on all our restaurant venue and menu data across our markets. 

  • Ensure that the app content is customer centric, accurate and up to date, as far as it concerns the restaurant dish availability, image, category navigation and other parameters (allergens, organic, etc.)

  • Passion for working backward from and delivering great customer experiences

  • Strong experience in working with large amounts of data to find customer insights and actions to improve user experience. 

  • Expertise in developing efficient operational and scalable operational processes for data sourcing, classification, and refinement. 

  • Experienced in driving continuous improvement initiatives in Operations and effective in influencing and spreading best practices across teams

  • Superior project management skills, and ability to deep dive into identifying root causes of problems and leverage โ€˜funnel thinkingโ€™ in developing solutions

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Previous experience in product information management, classification and taxonomy, and asset management is a strong plus.
