As a Fraud Analyst at Wolt, you will play a key role in detecting, analyzing, and preventing various types of fraud. Working closely with Fraud Operations, Marketing, Product, and Data teams, you will create and refine fraud prevention processes, ensure preparedness for new campaigns, proactively mitigate risks tied to upcoming product launches and platform changes and find new opportunities within the Fraud-prevention domain to be a factor in Woltโs growth.
Key Responsibilities
Trend Identification and Mitigation: Analyze customer, courier, and merchant behavior to detect and address patterns of different fraud types.
Rule Management: Develop, implement, and optimize fraud prevention rules and models to respond to evolving fraud tactics while balancing user experience.
Product Launch Preparedness: Work closely with the Product team to anticipate potential fraud risks for upcoming features or product launches, and design mitigation strategies tailored to these initiatives.
Campaign Preparedness: Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify fraud risks tied to large-scale promotions and campaigns, ensuring proper safeguards are in place before launch.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a fraud expert to the Data, Product, and Customer Support teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to risk mitigation across the platform.
Incident Investigation and Resolution: Resolve escalated fraud cases with speed and precision, ensuring learnings inform future strategies.
Monitoring and Reporting: Define and own dashboards and reports to track fraud KPIs, evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures, and communicate insights to key stakeholders.
Proactive Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and fraud tactics to propose and implement innovative anti-fraud solutions for Woltโs ever-evolving ecosystem - being an important factor in Woltโs growth.
Our humble expectations
Requirements:
Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines).
3+ years of experience in fraud detection, prevention, or risk management, preferably in the delivery, e-commerce, or fintech industries.
Analytical skills with experience using tools for data analysis.
Proven expertise in addressing and managing multiple fraud types
Ability to anticipate and mitigate fraud risks associated with product launches or new business initiatives.
Experience in fraud rule creation and management in high-transaction environments.
Familiarity with fraud prevention vendors
Effective communicator with a proven ability to collaborate across departments like operations, marketing, and product.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with fraud prevention in food delivery, retail, or marketplace industries.
Proficiency in using visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and insights.
