World-class customer service is one of the cornerstones of Wolt 💙 Over the years we have invested a lot in our in-house built support tooling as we believe that it’s the only way we can ensure satisfaction for all of our customers and partners in each of the 28 countries that we operate in. We take huge pride in our customer operations’ quality, so on top of building delightful support experiences in our consumer app we also want to proactively identify and solve issues before our customers and partners even notice something might be wrong.

The Support Productivity team plays a critical role at making our customer support teams efficient. For example, the team is responsible for building features that enable operations to set up complex close to real-time inquiries’ routing logic (workflows), the live analytics feature (streaming) which provides a close to real time view of how to optimise our customer support flows. This is a small, distributed team of 6 engineers: 3 backend engineers based in Berlin and 3 frontend engineers based in Tallinn and now we hiring a Team Lead to Tallinn. 

As a team lead, you’ll be an inspirer, facilitator, and an enabler for the team to do what they do best by running the weekly cycle of the team, participating in designing technical solutions, making personal development plans, hosting regular 1on1s, taking part in recruitment, and being there for your team whenever they need you. 

At Wolt, we work with high ownership in small cross-functional teams where each team member works around the whole software development life cycle. Each and every one of our product team members have a say in where we are going and what solutions we implement.

We expect you to be a good communicator, willing to serve people in and outside of your team, and a product-oriented and proactive problem solver willing to bring up issues in a constructive manner to the team and the whole Wolt Product team. You know what it takes to develop top-quality software, take care of people, and achieve ambitious goals together.

You are the rare gem when you also have a solid backend engineering background preferably in Node (Typescript), so you will be able to speak the same language with your team and stakeholders.
