This full time role plays an important part in the success of our growth in Finland. Your day-to-day work will have a concrete and measurable impact in our business!
 

We are now searching for a full time Category Specialist to help make our assortment handling across our stores more effective and inspiring in Finland. The position is based in HQ/Helsinki and reports to the Head of Category Management. In this role your main responsibility is to monitor and develop our store level assortments as a part of our commercial/category team. You’ll follow assortment performance and rotation together with our inventory team. You will also play an important part in the information flow between other Wolt Market stakeholders like our operations team and 16 stores.
 

What you’ll be doing

• Store level assortment handling and performance monitoring

• Store level space handling and development

• Promo, seasonal and novelty forecasting

• Participation in process development

• Participation in store opening and assortment related projects

• External and internal cooperation (ie. store operations, and inventory management team)

• All above with the help and cooperation of Head of Category Management and the rest of the category team

Our humble expectations

• 1+ years of relevant FMCG assortment management work experience and a proven track record of results. Your previous role could have been an assortment/category/space manager or specialist in retail.

• You are familiar with sales and order quantity forecasting

• Data is your friend and you enjoy exploring it to support business decisions of yourself and others. You have a detail oriented way of working and analytical mindset for improvement.

• You are ready to perform practical tasks as a part of your everyday work.

• You have the ability to work focused, under pressure and time limits.

• Working with numbers and tech brings you joy.

• “Teamwork is dream work” -mentality.

• Fluent level of Finnish and English. Swedish language skill is a nice to have.
