Wolt is embarking on an exciting journey with the launch of Wolt B2B Wholesale, a new business line dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for business customers. In the B2B area, restaurants and other businesses can get goods, such as ingredients for restaurants, delivered to their door through Wolt Courier Partners from Denmark’s big and small wholesalers. After successfully piloting our operations in Denmark last year, we’re now hiring a full team as we are ready to scale. 

We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Business Manager B2B Wholesale to be the country responsible for our B2B Wholesale business in Denmark, leading vendor acquisition and overseeing the downstream sales team. In this dynamic role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our upstream partners and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across operations, merchant, and support teams. Your focus will be to ensure seamless venue and delivery operations, all while delivering a world-class customer experience. You will set clear targets and KPIs for the sales team and leverage data analytics to drive performance, while your leadership style sets the standard for excellence, fostering a positive work environment that empowers your team to develop and grow. In this role you will have the chance to build an entire new business line from scratch.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Establish and grow relationships with upstream suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors to support Wolt’s B2B Wholesale operations.
  • Use data to identify opportunities for supplier growth and performance improvements 
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with upstream partners to drive mutual success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of supplier partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies, tools, and processes to optimize upstream sales.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to upstream partners to ensure long-term success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimized processes across all our operations teams and our business customers.
  • Drive and manage growth of our current upstream partners by improving venue performance with strong analysis and high-level consultation.
  • Lead and set KPIs for the local Sales Team (Inside Sales, Field Sales, Account Management) including weekly performance tracking. Provide regular performance feedback.
  • Perform frequent quality and satisfaction checks to ensure service standards.
  • Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with upstream partners.
  • Creating a positive work environment that enables the team to develop.
  • Leading by example in terms of demonstrating Wolt values and behaviors.

 

Our humble expectations

  • Fluency in Danish and English is a must.
  • Strong leadership skills and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • You are a true hunter with demonstrable experience of being successful in a B2B sales position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience
  • Experience from using analytics platforms or strong Excel skills
  • You are structured, detail- and service-oriented.
  • Previous experience in B2B from wholesale, retail or distributors is a plus
  • Experience from working with a CRM system is a plus.
