Wolt for Work is a rapidly-growing B2B business at Wolt, and we have ambitious plans to accelerate this growth and take our Product to the next level. Our mission is simple: we want to become the premium employee benefits platform for all companies throughout Lithuannia and the Baltics! Through Wolt’s established delivery network and vast number of restaurant and retail partners, Wolt for Work enables businesses to boost their employees’ happiness no matter where they are working, promote camaraderie in teams, and save time and effort running office events.

We are currently working with the top professional service and tech companies in Lithuania, and we are now looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager to join us on this journey of accelerating Wolt for Work’s growth further!

As a Business Development Manager you’ll be tasked with building and managing your own pipeline of partners to approach and sign up to Wolt.

This requires a good understanding of both the most appropriate partners across various verticals to prioritise, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills to get your targets through the sales funnel.

As time progresses and more partners are on boarded, the targets and duties of the role may develop. This means that you must thrive in the ‘start-up’ environment where constant change means there’s always lots to get your teeth into!

Additionally you will take ownership of growing our Enterprise portfolio by identifying, negotiating, and developing strategic partnerships with a diversity of enterprise partners. 

In this role you will engage in medium-complex business-level discussions with decision-makers, you will need to be comfortable using data, and insights and versatile enough to hold your own in operational, marketing, and technical conversations. 

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to showcase your entrepreneurial flair and collaborate across several teams/functions including our product, merchant and marketing teams to build a winning proposition. We have a great base to start from, your focus will be to help us build upon and scale this in the local and regional markets. 
 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Building a go to market strategy and business development for Wolt for Work in Lithuania and executing it.
  • Establish new strategic partnerships with partners that would benefit from Wolt for Work services.
  • Driving and managing the growth of the existing accounts. 
  • Being the client representatives' trusted advisor, helping them overcome any issues related to the Wolt services.
  • Making sound business decisions by using data to support your intuition. 
  • Work closely with Wolt leadership and cross-functional teams (Product, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Support and others) to build a winning proposition for the market.
  • Working closely together with our restaurant sales and retail sales teams to develop opportunities for expanding our existing partnerships to Wolt for Work.
  • Ensure we have the right integrations in place to win the market.

Our humble expectations

  • Previous success within solution sales or business development. SaaS, marketplace, eCommerce, or last-mile logistic-related sales experience is a big advantage.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to close partnerships with various company sizes (from C-level executives to small business owners).
  • Excellent commercial and strategic thinking - you are great at strategizing and building a business from scratch. Moreover, you can quickly pick up different business models and spot opportunities and bottlenecks. 
  • You have previously collaborated with teams internally to make long and complex deals come to life. 
  • Excellent analytical skills - such as translating data into actions, analyzing sales metrics and pricing models, and producing relevant KPIs. 
  • Skilled in both new sales as well as developing existing clients. 
  • Demonstrable consultative sales approach - someone that can build relationships and tailor our offering and business model to a specific partner based on various parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business level of communication and presentation skills in English and Lithuanian.
  • Strong leadership skills and/or potential.
