We are now kicking things off by hiring an HR team for Wolt Operations. Wolt Operations is an independent company operating Wolt’s courier employment model in Finland. You will play a pivotal role in bringing this new setup to life and building the foundation that will enable it. We are looking for experienced people with a can-do mindset to help us shape and run this work.

We are looking for an HR Specialist to support and enable this journey.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be an integral part of launching our employed courier model. You’ll play a key role in supporting both our employed couriers and their team leads across the full employee lifecycle. From onboarding to offboarding, employee relations to system management — you’ll be the go-to person who ensures everything runs smoothly while helping to shape how we work as we grow.
This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Act as a trusted partner to team leads, supporting them with employee relations (ER) and day-to-day people matters.
- Handle HR operations across the full employment lifecycle, including, for example, onboarding, contracts, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a great employee experience for our employed couriers.
- Manage HR Systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive HR professional, who will likely have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR Specialist or HR Generalist role.
- Understanding of Finnish employment law and HR compliance.
- Experience in supporting front-line and operational employees.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savviness and experience using HR systems (preferably Workday).
- A solution-oriented mindset — you stay calm under pressure and get things done.
