The Strategy & Innovation (S&I) team plays a key role in shaping the future of Wolt’s operations. We design and execute initiatives that make our courier operations more efficient and sustainable. Our work spans across 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, where we focus on launching new cities, testing new delivery methods, piloting green and sustainable vehicle solutions, improving operational performance, and leading strategic cross-country projects.

As a Senior Project Management Specialist, you’ll help turn these initiatives into reality,  coordinating projects, connecting teams, and ensuring we deliver on time and in line with our goals. You’ll act as the operational bridge between local teams, HQ functions, and external partners.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and coordinating strategic and operational projects across multiple markets in the Central region.
  • Working on initiatives such as city launches, new delivery methods, piloting new vehicle types, sustainability projects, and city performance management.
  • Creating detailed project timelines, defining milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Setting up and leading cross-functional meetings to align teams and monitor progress.
  • Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinating collaboration across Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Support, and Product teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices within the S&I team.

Our humble expectations*

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, operations, or business development, ideally within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of ownership and structure.
  • Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Hands-on attitude and proactive problem-solving approach — able to drive progress independently.
  • Experience working across markets or departments is a strong advantage.
  • Passion for innovation and sustainability in urban logistics and delivery operations.

 

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting. 

The salary listed is the monthly gross salary range for this position.
