Role background

We launched our service in Germany in August 2020 and have since seen rapid development in the market. Today, we partner with several thousand restaurants across Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hanover, Düsseldorf & Hamburg and continue to expand into new cities, regions, and business verticals.

For Wolt, everything starts with restaurants. If there are no restaurants, there are no customers, and if there are no customers, there are no couriers. Thus, restaurant acquisition and operations are a crucial part of Wolt’s success in every city and country.

As the Team Lead Inside Sales, your role is to manage our restaurant acquisition through a team of Inside Sales Representatives who primarily work over the phone, with occasional on-site visits to targeted cities.

Your job will be to strengthen Wolt’s restaurant portfolio by identifying, contacting, and onboarding the right new venues onto the platform. You’ll provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to your team while ensuring sales performance is consistently meeting or exceeding targets. You’ll also work closely with our Restaurant Onboarding & Support Team Leads to ensure smooth partner handover and long-term partner success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and leading the Inside Sales Team responsible for restaurant acquisition across multiple German regions
  • Setting clear team KPIs, managing sales performance, and providing structured feedback and coaching
  • Developing and executing scalable sales strategies, including segmentation, pipeline prioritization, and tailored outreach campaigns
  • Identifying and contacting restaurants that are a great fit for Wolt, systematically managing the team’s sales pipeline
  • Supporting your team in negotiations regarding partner terms, ensuring deals are both attractive for partners and profitable for Wolt
  • Using data-driven insights to steer sales efforts and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Creating a positive and motivating team culture that fosters high performance, collaboration, and personal development
  • Leading by example and living Wolt’s values and behaviors in daily work

Our humble expectations

  • You have demonstrable experience leading a sales team, ideally in inside sales, telesales, or remote-first B2B sales
  • You bring strong people management and coaching skills, and a proven ability to drive team performance
  • You are a natural “hunter” with excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • You have strong business acumen, are data-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Hospitality or restaurant industry knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • You have a proactive, self-starter mindset and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves
  • You are fluent in German and English
