About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

Role background

Are you experienced in Quality and Compliance? Do you have experience with implementing and leading Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility processes in a global company? Are you looking for a challenge to be part of building a fast-growing, globally active company and define how we do things at Wolt? If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat!

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. Food delivery was just a start, and now we are exploring and expanding our platform with other business verticals in retail and grocery. We’ve grown significantly in the last three years, expanding our operations from just four countries across the Nordics, to 23 countries across Europe and Asia today. And we’re just getting started.

In Global Quality & Compliance, we are looking for the ideal candidate to join our team and lead our Quality Compliance function. This position will be leading our Global Quality Compliance Audits program, performing and monitoring Risk Assessments for our Global Supply Chain in accordance with relevant regulations (GPSR, EUDR, EUBR etc) applied in supply chain, and on the product level and ensuring continuous improvement of our Global QMS. You will work closely together with our procurement and legal teams.

  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Lead cross-functional risk assessments across the supply chain, covering product safety, human rights due diligence, and environmental sustainability. Maintain technical documentation and manage corrective actions as needed.
  • Quality & Sustainability Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on quality standards, human rights, and environmental regulations (including EUDR). Continuously improve the Global Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure business-wide compliance in collaboration with the Global Quality Compliance Manager.
  • Product & Supplier Compliance: Oversee product and supplier compliance for private label products. Coordinate third-party inspections, manage shipment release decisions, and mitigate safety risks with suppliers.
  • Systems & Tools Development: Partner with the Global Procurement and local teams to develop or enhance tools and systems for effective supply chain risk management.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement: Lead training initiatives across relevant teams and support broader performance improvement and compliance efforts throughout the organization.

We’re here to make sure every delivery experience is an amazing one for our customers, courier partners, and merchant partners.

In partnership with local and global operations and various tech teams, we tackle questions like: how to onboard tens of thousands of courier partners efficiently, how to secure the right balance of couriers and orders across different cities, and how our logistics algorithms should be set up to ensure every order is a smooth one.

Our people

"The learning curve has been steep. I've been given plenty of opportunities and space to grow. At Wolt, if you find things that should be fixed or improved, no-one is holding you back. 'This is how we've always done it' isn't an argument here. There is no micromanaging whatsoever, yet I feel I always get the support I need from my team lead and peers."
