We are looking for a Product Operations Lead to join the Courier group. The Courier group at Wolt operates with the mission of providing a high-quality delivery experience for our Consumers, becoming the most-loved platform for Couriers, and being the most efficient logistics engine in the industry. 

As a Product Operations Lead, your core responsibility is to coordinate and support cross-functional teams to ensure that the Courier group’s product initiatives align with Wolt’s strategic goals while maintaining a focus on long-term sustainable growth and innovation. You’ll play a crucial role in driving strategic alignment and operational excellence within the Courier group. This includes centralizing and harmonizing key processes, allowing the Product Leads to focus on building innovative products that drive the business forward.

You will work with an incredibly talented team of product managers, designers, engineers, and data analysts in a high-visibility role. You’ll be responsible for leading the roadmap planning for the Courier group, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams. This involves setting the direction for multiple projects throughout the product lifecycle, partnering with business and operations stakeholders, and gaining a deep understanding of our end-users. 

You will also lead high-profile initiatives, such as AI- driven product innovation. Additionally, you will facilitate best practices, drive innovation through ideation and pilot programs, and provide financial modeling support to enable data-driven decisions. You'll help build a strong product community, celebrate team achievements, and support Product Leads in their career growth.

Our humble expectations

You could come to this role from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally, you have:

  • Plenty of experience in Product Operations and / or Product Management, preferably in e-commerce or marketplaces 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • A mixture of a deep understanding of product processes, ability to drive efficiency and growth targets, and a go-getter attitude of a "could-be start-up CEO" 
  • Expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly product managers, designers, finance experts and data analysts

Next steps

Fixed term contract for 12 months with a possibility to prolong it.
