The behind the scenes of Wolt is run by an awesome bunch of over 700+ planners, builders, designers and data crunchers. We call ourselves Product+, as we’re the very core of Wolt’s products, tools and platforms. To build our products, we work in over 60 cross-functional, independent and autonomous teams. Teams are made up of a mix of talented individuals: engineers, designers, data scientists, analysts, and product leads. Each team takes ownership for solving customer problems in the best possible way.
We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Support Funnel engineering team. The team primarily focuses on building self-service solutions through our product, Support Hub.
Currently, most support interactions take place via our chat solution, where customers communicate with Customer Support Associates (CSAs). As a data-driven company, Wolt has identified many cases where users could resolve their issues independently, without needing to speak to a support agent. This creates a win-win situation: customers get their issues resolved more quickly, and our support team can focus on problems that truly require a human touch.
While we aim to provide excellent self-service capabilities, we believe users should always have the option to speak with a real person. In these instances, the Support Layer functions as a context-capturing mechanism—ensuring that when a conversation with a CSA begins, they already have insight into the user's issue.
You'll work closely with our designer, analyst, product lead, and fellow engineers as we strive to grow our retail business rapidly while maintaining engineering excellence. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about mission-driven engineering and wants to operate at the intersection of customer experience, technical complexity, and real-world impact.
We're a remote first company, at the same time some members of the team live in Helsinki, so when it works for your schedule, you will have a chance to spend some time all together in our beautiful Helsinki office.
Our humble expectations*
- At least 4 years developing iOS applications, not exceeding 6 years
- Testing ownership mindset (i.e. owning the whole cycle of development - not just developing features, but actually making sure they’re defect free, shipping them into customers’ hands)
- Production app monitoring and troubleshooting experience
- At least 4 years developing iOS applications, not exceeding 6 years (Swift, SwiftUI)

- Keeping up to date with the latest developments
- Desire to build beautiful animations (with the help of our Motion Designer)
