Wolt is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to expand our Listing Operations team. The team is part of the Merchant Product group and is responsible for enabling the delivery of the merchant tool set that helps our partners drive and grow their businesses. Thousands of Merchants across the globe are using this tooling on a daily basis.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working on the Listing Manager, our Merchant facing web application to enable them to setup and manage their Menus and Assortments ensuring high performance, usability and reliability at scale.
- Working closely with Product, Design and Users to elicitate requirements, plan implementation and execute within the team.
- Driving Technical Initiatives around architecture, developer experience, observability, performance, and more.
- Supporting Engineering Excellence: Champion best practices, improve developer workflows, and continually raise the bar for code quality.
- Long-Term Thinking: Balance short-term deliverables with long-term platform health to maintain a maintainable, extensible, and secure environment.

Must haves
- Able to lead and drive technical projects and improvements across an engineering organization.
- Proven expertise in building consumer-facing frontend applications, using TypeScript and React.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Deep understanding of modern web technologies and performance optimization techniques.
- Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
Nice to haves
- Track record with User Experience and best practices.
- Interest in the whole life cycle of software, not shying away from exploring the internals of the backend
- Experience with GraphQL API and Backend for Frontend architecture
- Exposure to AI technologies, be it in the software development itself via AI supported IDE's or in terms of User facing Features like LLM
