Payments product team
At the heart of Wolt’s evolution from a food delivery service to an expansive super app, the Payment Products Team drives user-centric payment solutions that reshape how customers engage with our platform. You can work at the forefront of Wolt’s growth, where your contributions directly influence the future of payments and unlock new possibilities for customers worldwide.
Our humble expectations
We are looking for experienced software engineers who can develop production-level microservices in Python & Go. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions while leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications, primarily in Python, with increasing use of Go expected in the coming years.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes using SQL databases like PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with asynchronous event processing (Kafka or others)
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying and scaling applications
- Experience in Kotlin is useful
