Position Overview

The Sr. Program Manager, Technology and Insights (T&I) plays a critical role within the Global Technology Strategy and Operations (GTSO) team, driving the execution of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and ensuring strategic alignment across the organization.

This role requires a combination of program execution, technical fluency, and strategic planning to manage large-scale initiatives that impact multiple teams and business functions. The Program Manager is responsible for aligning resources, mitigating risks, and establishing governance frameworks to ensure the seamless execution of high-priority programs.

The role focuses on three primary areas:

  • Program Execution: Leading and managing large-scale technology initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Strategic Planning & Resource Allocation: Ensuring headcount, budget, and priorities align with business objectives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establishing governance, reporting, and continuous improvement frameworks to drive execution at scale.

This role does not own individual product roadmaps but ensures that technology initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with company-wide priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead high-impact programs that require collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and technical excellence. Examples include:

Ensure that T&I resources (headcount, budget, and initiatives) are effectively allocated to drive business impact and support company-wide objectives. Examples include:

  • Develop and implement prioritization frameworks to assess and allocate resources effectively.
  • Establish structured governance models (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews) to track progress and resolve roadblocks.
  • Partner with Finance, Security, and People Technology teams to align strategic planning and execution.
  • Identify and coordinate cross-functional dependencies, ensuring seamless execution across teams.
  • Continuously refine operating models to improve efficiency, collaboration, and impact.

Operational Efficiency (10%)

Establish scalable processes and frameworks that enable the T&I team to function as a high-impact, strategically aligned organization.  Examples include:

  • Establish governance and reporting structures to track and communicate program performance.
  • Develop frameworks for budget and resource allocation, ensuring financial and workforce planning align with business needs.
  • Create team engagement and communication strategies to drive transparency and collaboration.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize execution efficiency.

Required Capabilities

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex technical programs across multiple business functions.
  • Experience leading initiatives in HR, Finance, and procurement systems (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Greenhouse).
  • Strong ability to engage with technical teams, review solution designs, and provide meaningful input to ensure high-quality implementations.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into execution plans, ensuring strategic alignment across teams.
  • Experience balancing competing priorities, trade-offs, and resource constraints to drive business impact.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct authority, driving alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Strong skills in executive-level reporting, presentations, and facilitation.
  • Strong ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively solve complex challenges in high-ambiguity environments.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and leverage data to drive decisions, measure impact, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and frameworks to enhance reporting clarity.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning, process enhancement, and operational efficiency to improve execution effectiveness.
  • Deep understanding of how technology investments, operational trade-offs, and business objectives intersect.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, ensuring alignment across multiple business and technical teams.

Team

The future is the default

We’re the superheroes who make things happen. Our special power is invisibility – while we’re all about delivering excellent service, we prefer it when everything just works and nobody even notices we’re here.

And by mastering the art of invisibility, it means we have more time for afternoon fikas which sure beats telling people to turn their machine off and on again!
