We are looking for an ambitious and analytical Finance and Strategy Intern to join the Consumer Business team. As a Finance and Strategy Intern, you will support the Business and Financial Lead in developing financial processes, tools, and data models that drive insights and support the growth.. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic finance, business analysis, and data modeling within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
The Consumer Business team is a core growth function at Wolt which covers the entire spectrum of Wolt’s consumer experience, ranging from our affordability initiatives such as our membership program Wolt+ into our overall shopping experience and building new services to our users. As a Finance and Strategy Intern, you will assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), data reporting, and performance monitoring, helping to ensure the accuracy and completeness of business and financial data while identifying opportunities for optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the performance of our OKRs against set targets, identify pockets where we can further accelerate and where we have gaps.
- Assist in managing our weekly forecasting inputs and process to ensure management has an accurate view of our traction against targets.
- Support the structuring and organization of financial data and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business needs.
- Develop tools and processes to take them to new heights.
- Prepare presentations and summaries of financial and strategic insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
Our humble expectations:
- University Student: Currently pursuing a Degree in a Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, expecting to graduate in 2025.
- Analytical: You are a superstar in analyzing data and making informed decisions based on numbers. You might have worked with Excel, Google Sheets, SQL or coding during your studies.
- Business Savvy: You are curious to understand how our business works on a deeper level and already have a solid understanding of business fundamentals.
- Proactive Self-Starter: You like taking initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will be given ownership of your own topics with proper guidance. You perhaps already have experience in managing projects or can tell us about a time where your ideas and actions had a meaningful impact at a previous internship or case study.
- Clear Communicator: You can showcase your strong verbal and written communication skills in English in the way you bring up innovative ideas, voice your opinions and interact with people around you. No need for local language skills.
