Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we're best known for our delivery platform. On our mobile apps or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners – or other items from our grocery and retail partners – to either pick up their order or have it delivered by our courier partners.

Our apps (iOS and Android) have the industry's highest reviews, largely because of our customer-centric approach to how we build our products and operations. As Wolt continues its impressive growth in Kazakhstan since entry in 2019, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to spearhead expansion and development of our restaurant and retail portfolio in Shymkent.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, self-motivated salesperson, driven by surpassing sales targets and continuous personal development. Your outgoing and communicative personality should enable you to connect effortlessly with diverse individuals, forging enduring relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
- Explore and prospect the market to discover untapped opportunities.
- Identify potential partnerships and initiate engagement with restaurants and retailers that align with Wolt's vision.
- Manage the pipeline of potential partnerships systematically.
- Understand venue performance to set profitable business terms and negotiate partnership terms.
- Collaborate closely with all relevant departments demonstrating exceptional communication skills.
- Driving and managing month-over-month sales growth at entrusted venues by improving venue performance. This involves measuring critical KPIs, comprehensive analysis, and performing regular quality and satisfaction checks.
- Working with our partners to improve their overall sales and conversion rates. We strive for our partners' success by sharing tools and best practices.
- Collecting feedback from our partners and translating it into improvements for product, marketing, and operations.
- Acting as a key communicator between our operations and merchants.
- Working closely with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with restaurant and retail partners.
Our humble expectations
- Extensive experience within retail or restaurant sales - for example, HoReCa, FMCG, or alcohol wholesalers.
- You know how to communicate in B2B and B2C, both over the phone and in the field
- Sales is your passion, and a "no" only fuels your drive to achieve a resounding "yes"
- Networking and relationship building come naturally to you
- Shyness and quietness are not part of your vocabulary
- You possess a natural "hunter" instinct and will stop at nothing to secure a meeting with a potential business owner
- You thrive being in an environment where you have high ownership and ambition to go beyond the obvious
- You’re a team player, with a positive attitude and love to be involved
- Fluent in Kazakh and Russian, English
