Our history
Sweden is the first country outside of Finland to experience Wolt’s award-winning service – starting with our launch in Stockholm.
We expanded to three new cities and moved into a new office in downtown Stockholm.
The expansion locomotive continued its journey through Sweden!
We moved to a bigger office again and traveled to the beautiful beaches of Narva for an epic party with all our colleagues from around the world!
Covid-19 hit and we put all our energy into supporting our merchant partners.
Despite changing our processes we managed to launch four more cities and made sure that as many as possible could enjoy their favorite restaurants from the safety of their home.
While saying hello to Malmö and two other cities we started building our retail and Wolt Market organizations – partnering up with multiple retailers to deliver make-up, groceries, flowers and much more!
We just moved to our brand new office and have lots of exciting ideas to bring you for an even better Wolt experience in 2022.
We can't tell you all of our secrets but we're happy to share some nuggets such as launching our own grocery stores and expanding to Sweden’s second biggest city, Göteborg.
If 2022 was a big year for us, then 2023 is going to be even bigger! We can't tell you all of our secrets but we can tell you that expansion is a big part of our plans. The most exciting thing for us is our fast-growing team which will be moving into an even bigger office – our fourth office in four years!
2016
