A small but great team with a big blue Wolt heart launched in our first Danish city. Hello Copenhagen!
This year we made our first expansions into Aarhus, Odense and Lyngby-Gentofte. And that was just the beginning of painting cities blue in Denmark!
The team grew and so did the number of Wolt cities as we expanded into Aalborg and Roskilde.
Covid-19 hit, which meant we had to work harder, better, faster and stronger! We still made our way to Esbjerg, Vejle and Randers to ensure hungry customers were still able to order from their favorite restaurants.
While saying hello to Kolding, Horsens, Hørsholm-Rungsted, Helsingør and Næsted, we also partnered up with exciting retailers on our Wolt app. We launched our first Wolt Market store in Denmark, providing our customers with groceries right to their door. It was such an exciting time!
Kicking off the year by launching more blue cities – expanding into Vestegnen and Ballerup-Herlev. Retail is rapidly growing and so is Wolt Market, which we keep expanding to more cities and areas. A really exciting year to come with so many great new colleagues already on board!
2023 means growth. We strive to become the mall in your pocket, and this year that mall will get bigger! We’ll cover more of Denmark’s cities, giving more choice to more customers. And we'll also introduce Wolt+ to more people in Denmark and onboard many more colleagues. Come help us grow!

Hear it from our people
My role and the work I do is focused on our Courier Partners and their wellbeing, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I hope and believe that I have contributed to making Wolt the best possible place to be working as a Courier Partner. Our business may have scaled up a million times, but our service and care remain the same for every single Courier Partner with Wolt, and I am really proud to be a part of that.

As General Manager my greatest luxury and greatest curse is to be involved a bit everywhere, but at the same time try not to get too involved in the details. We constantly search for opportunities to bring our service out to more consumers, merchant partners and courier partners. Thereby, we offer consumers the benefit of convenience and good experiences, while at the same time provide merchant and courier partners a flexible way to increase their revenue. This is our way to make cities better and improve life of all people involved with our service.
