About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Role background
We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our global Real Estate & Facilities team, based in Germany but covering the scope of our full global portfolio. You’ll report to the Global Head of Real Estate and collaborate closely with colleagues across our international real estate and workplace teams, local stakeholders, and vendor partners around the world.
As our office portfolio continues to grow and now spans over 30 countries, we’re committed to delivering thoughtful, efficient, and productive office environments. This role is a key part of that effort. You’ll lead office fit-out projects from inception to delivery, ensuring each one meets our expectations for budget, timing, quality, and employee experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading complex projects and drives outcomes in a fast paced environment, and making an impact through smart vendor partnerships, strong governance, and practical delivery excellence.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be responsible for delivering multiple office fit-out projects from design brief to handover, each one requiring thoughtful planning, robust cost control, and active stakeholder management.
- You’ll act as the lead point of contact on construction projects, coordinating across our internal teams—including Real Estate, Design, Workplace, IT, Security, and local business functions—and with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors. Y
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with our design standards and functional requirements as well as driving value return on our capex investments.
- A key part of your role will be to help define and implement our global vendor strategy, identifying the right partners, setting clear scopes, managing contracts, and ensuring value through performance tracking and accountability.
- You’ll oversee programme scheduling, budget forecasting, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and the change control process throughout the project lifecycle.
- Preparing project charters, tracking KPIs, and managing key milestones to ensure transparency and momentum. On-site, you’ll be supported by QA/QC teams and commissioning agents to ensure every space is delivered to spec and ready for handover to operations.
- This role is fast-paced and varied. You’ll need to be organised, adaptable, and proactive—capable of balancing competing priorities and maintaining momentum across multiple live projects in different locations.
Our Humble Expectations
- 7+ years in project management, with a focus on office fit-outs or other commercial real estate. International or multi-country project delivery experience is highly valued.
- Experience in Project & Cost Control: A proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendors across the full project lifecycle—from early scoping and tendering to completion.
- You’re skilled in contractor procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor oversight—and you’re comfortable setting up and scaling vendor models across regions.
- You’re confident leading conversations across functions and seniority levels, and can clearly represent business needs, risks, and progress updates.
- Comfortable reviewing and drafting construction documents and contracts and specifications. Experience with MEP systems and commissioning processes is a plus.
- Proficient in project management platforms or workplace management systems.
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and delivery-focused. You’re solutions-driven and know how to keep things moving even when things get complex. Being comfortable with ambiguity is essential.
- Degree or other qualification in construction management, building surveying, cost management, engineering, or a related discipline. PMP, RICS, CIOB, or other project management accreditations are a plus.
- Travel may be required as part of the role.
- English language proficiency required.
