The team is primarily focused on building self-service solutions (product called - Support Layer). At the moment most of the support is done using our chat solution, but Wolt being a data driven company, we were able to identify many cases where users would be able to solve some of their issues on their own without having to talk to customer support folks. This is a win-win situation - customers get a problem solved faster and our customer support folks can spend time on issues that truly require a human touch.
It’s our philosophy that even though we want to provide good self-service capabilities to our users, users should always be able to talk to real human beings. In this case, Support Layer acts as a “context capturing” layer, so when the conversation starts, CSA (customer support associate) already knows what the conversation is going to be about. E.g. before having a chat with a CSA, users get to choose what order they want to talk about, and what kind of problem they have with that order.

- Modern Android development
Experience building SDKs is quite helpful
Testing ownership mindset
Server Driven UI experience is preferable
At least 5 years of experience working with Android
Self driven, can find solutions with minimal guidance
Able to break feature tickets into technical tasks
Has been a driver behind good architecture previously

The compensation will be a negotiable combination of monthly pay and DoorDash RSUs. The latter makes it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you’ll own a piece of the pie.
