Wolt is a technology company and we are best known for our food delivery platform. Food delivery was just a start, and now we are exploring and expanding our platform with other business verticals in Retail and Grocery. Our Global Quality team is responsible for supporting these new business verticals by designing and deploying global quality standards and ensuring product compliance for multi-category products (food and no-food). You will be working directly with our 25 markets, local operations teams and other central functions in improvement of the existing quality and compliance processes. You will have responsibility for supporting quality and product safety related decision making for a subset of the markets. Externally, your main responsibilities are related to supplier management for quality and product compliance matters. In this role, you will get support from our awesome team, but with your experience you are expected to be an amazing independent lead with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.

What you’ll be doing.

• You will be working independently with internal and external stakeholders:
• Ensure that Wolt products comply with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
• Engage with global and local suppliers for product safety matters and documentation (e.g. certificates of conformity, product testing, labeling, CE marking, other).
• Ensure that product safety documentation and quality standards are continuously updated and maintained for countries in scope.
• Support local Category managers and Operations teams for quality, product compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure the Wolt QMS is continuously maintained and updated.
• Stakeholders management across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree related to engineering or business along with several years of experience in Quality compliance, Product and Regulatory compliance.
• Good understanding of EU regulation (GPSR, REACH, CE Marking, Food Safety regulation).
• Proven knowledge of basic product compliance practices.
• Relevant experience in the Retail / Grocery / E-commerce / Food industry.
• Experience as a lead auditor.
• Experience leading education and training initiatives.
• You are a strong project manager with good stakeholder management across all levels.
• You have a strong will to make a difference and influence how we do things at Wolt.
• You have a hands-on mentality and you thrive in an environment that involves problem-solving  and finding creative and innovative solutions.
• You have experience working in an international business environment.
• You are fluent in English and eligible to work in the EU.
• You will be based in Berlin with annual travel activity around 30 days.
