Wolt is looking for a Senior Frontend developer to join our Growth & Marketing team. The Growth and Marketing team is all about driving… You guessed it, growth. The team does this both by making changes to our consumer-facing applications (iOS, Android and Web) and by building tools for our local and central marketing teams. Any type of incentive that happens inside the Wolt platform, whether it’s free deliveries, credits, discounts etc. is owned by the team, both the tooling and the consumer facing part. Development within the team moves with a fast pace, is very iterative, involves a lot of testing out new things and finding new ways to engage our customers.
The Growth & Marketing team currently consists of a team lead, a product lead, a data-analyst, mobile, backend and frontend engineers, and a designer. You’ll be getting your hands on systems done by plenty of other Wolt teams and collaborating and learning from them. You’ll contribute to the wolt.com codebase and will be responsible for the team's features on that consumer-facing client.
📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki, Berlin or Stockholm, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia. Our humble expectations
So what do we expect from you? In terms of stack we expect you to be proficient in building high quality React apps in Typescript individually. As a contributor to our consumer-facing website, you need to be able to build delightful experiences both in terms of visual quality and user experience while at the same time making sure the code is maintainable, well-tested and works in a codebase with contributors from many different teams.
We expect you to be a good communicator, willing to collaborate with people outside of your own team, be product-oriented and a proactive problem solver willing to bring up issues in a constructive manner to the team and the Wolt Product+ team at large. You get bonus points for having previous experience with Growth hacking.
The compensation is a combination of monthly pay and equity. The latter makes it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you'll own a piece of the pie. 🙌
