Wolt License Services is Wolt’s internal payments compliance organisation. As a supervised payments institution, risk and compliance are essential functions to ensure our success.

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Manager to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective risk management and compliance strategies within our organization. You will identify potential risks, assess their impact and probability, and develop plans to mitigate, transfer, or avoid them. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The role will be based in either Wolt’s Helsinki or Berlin office.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive risk and compliance  strategies.
• Align control policies to the enterprise risk management framework
• Oversee the risk management and compliance programs and ensure risks and opportunities are identified, evaluated, and reported on accurately and timely.
• Regulatory second line Risk assessments of the current operations and future solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the mitigation efforts and define improvements when necessary.
• Conduct or participate in audits.
• Embed a strong risk management culture, support the upskill of the business through research, advisory and training.Establish effective communication channels with various stakeholders, including the Board of Directors (BoD), risk management, internal controls, information security, internal audit (IA), Wolt employees, due diligence (DD) teams, external service providers, and regulatory bodies such as the FIN-FSA.
• Responsible for regulatory reporting of the Wolt License Services legal entity

• Degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or a related field
• Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess and quantify risks accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Risk Professional (CRP) are a plus.
