Wolt is looking to expand its Security team, and we're hiring an Information Security Specialist to help us build an even more secure Wolt. The security team is a multidisciplinary team which is responsible for information security, data privacy engineering, physical security and safety at Wolt. Our Security team collaborates across Wolt's functions to enable us to build the first class product and service of Wolt.

At Wolt we believe that you shape your own role and this role can be adjusted based on your prior experience and professional interests expanding the scope of your duties according to your preferences. You’ll be joining Wolt’s security team’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) group, developing our information security management to the next level. You will also be supporting and advising different teams in strategic and operational security related matters but also individual Wolt employees in day-to-day issues. 

Challenges you’ll be solving

👉 As an Information Security Specialist you will be responsible for managing and driving improvement of several compliance and governance initiatives at Wolt. We’ll do it the Wolt way, not like others do it. You will need a big vision and a pinch of design and engineering skills to succeed like a true champion. This will be your most important priority and should consume most of your time. 

👉 You’ll make sure that all the periodical milestones and control activities are performed and documented accordingly. This is an important duty, one which will not consume your time too much and only on a periodical basis.

👉 You will be a point of contact for external and internal stakeholders. You will convince external stakeholders on Wolt’s capabilities to manage their data securely. You will provide advice and rationale for internal stakeholders why security is important for the business, always enabling the other teams to succeed in their work. Influencing internally and externally is a task you will use time on a weekly if not daily basis.

👉 You will participate in the team's efforts in shifting Wolt’s security practices to the left and taking security and data privacy governance requirements to the product development processes in very early phases. This will be a continuous effort and will require your focus on a periodical basis.
 

To succeed in this role you should have at least 3 years of experience in a GRC security or privacy role, from consulting or as an in house expert and have vast experience of cross organizational projects and stakeholder management. You should have solid knowledge and experience in designing and implementing controls from commonly known security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series, NIST, SOX ITGC, SOC 2). We’re looking for a goal-oriented person, someone who can take ownership of their scope of duties and drive execution of their ideas. Knowledge and experience of modern product development practices and data privacy related projects is a major advantage.
