Role Background
Wolt is a technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to home or to the office. We were founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022 - of the 27 countries that DoorDash operates in today, 23 are with the Wolt product and brand.
As part of our phenomenal growth, we’re now looking to strengthen and scale our people development practices across the globe. To do so, we need a Talent Management Lead that looks beyond the traditional bell-curve in favour of something more modern and impactful.
While you’ll have full autonomy to determine exactly what that forward-thinking approach is, we’re hoping for something that’s data-informed, has strong alignment in all corners of Wolt (as well as a connection to DoorDash programmes), and is built on a ‘people first’ basis.
You’ll have the support of our regional people partners to both input on programmes and coordinate the respective delivery. However, as a senior individual contributor (for now at least), you must be comfortable working at both ends of the spectrum - you’ll be building the high-level strategy and also rolling up your sleeves to get things done!

What you’ll be doing
- Owning and developing both the culture and process behind the performance and feedback cycles, and ensuring alignment and adoption on a global scale.
- Working cross-team to identify and analyse key talent management metrics that measure impact and inform the ongoing roadmap. This includes skills gap and learning needs, along with people engagement and retention stats.
- Working with the wider People team to build job architecture, skills benchmarking and career pathing initiatives.
- Building and owning ‘multi-channel’ programmes to drive development and succession planning. For example, mentor programmes, leadership development, internal internships, and creating relevant LMS content (alongside the eLearning team).
- Working with talent acquisition to help find new ways to identify and promote internal talent pools.
Our humble expectations
- Extensive and proven experience of designing, developing and implementing talent management programs on a global scale.
- Good knowledge of modern talent management tools, tech and trends, with demonstrable understanding of how to configure and develop annual feedback cycles and goal setting in a less ‘traditional’ format.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with specific experience of supporting senior leaders with new ways of working.
- Obsessed about employee experience - everything must be built through the lens of our people!
- Fluency with using data to inform decisions.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively in English.
- Previous experience from tech companies, scale-ups and hypergrowth firms is a big plus.
