Role Background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company, and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. Just 2 years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast-forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 200 cities across EMEA, servicing over 10M registered users.

Our journey within Israel started in the fall of 2018. Since then, we’ve launched in 26 cities and the country has become one of our fastest-growing ‘Woltwide’.

Due to our increased growth and a high volume of city launches planned for 2023, we're now looking for a Post Launch Expansion Associate to join our Operations Department in Tel Aviv. You’ll be a key factor within the expansion team and take part in post-launch activities.

By facilitating Expansion related challenges, you will become a knowledge center for expansion-related topics. You will be in the post-launch team and take care of the new cities after the launch. You will be working closely with our Expansion Lead and find ways to improve our operation in new cities. 

In our Operations Team life moves fast and there is no typical day, so to be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, confident and creative, possess leadership characteristics, and have excellent relationship-building skills.

What will you be doing? 

1. Working on a full-time basis, Sun-Thursday
2. Monitor the orders in real-time and communicate with the support team to successfully manage the supply in the city.
3. Build relationships with the couriers after the launch - manage the community group and contact the couriers to get feedback.
4. Identifying new ways to expand our business in geographical aspects.
5. Supply management - work with the onboarding team to supply balance and recruitment management.
6. Make conclusions based on launched cities.
7. Monitoring the city operation info and identifying challenges and solutions. 

Collecting and analyzing post launch data to identify trends and patterns.
