Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their food up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
However, food delivery was just the start. We don’t want to just satisfy our customers’ hunger, but to deliver a wide variety of products and expand our platform to some cool retail shops, supermarkets, flowers, toys and other exciting products, all referred to as Retail. As the Retail Account Management Team Lead, your role is to lead relationships with our top retail partners., Creating initiatives to boost their sales, coming up with creative ways of enhancing our cooperation and ensuring that your teams take the best possible care of them. Including common marketing activities and campaigns.
We’re looking for someone that has a real passion not only for delivering exceptional service personally, but also leading teams who are best-in-class at what they do. Existing experience in the retail industry would be beneficial, as would expertise in data-driven decision making; understanding our customers and working through tasks efficiently are both crucial in this position. Strong key account management background is a must-have.
You must also be a team player and willing to chip in with tasks outside of the day-to-day - it’s important that we keep the ‘hands on’ ethos that has made our team what it is!
What you'll be doing
Driving and managing growth of our current venues by improving venue performance with strong analysis and high-level consultation.
Taking ownership of the relationship from the Retail Partnership team once contract is signed, and successfully onboarding and training venues together with dedicated colleagues
Building long-term retail relationships post-onboarding, and being the key communicator between our operations and retail partners.
Cooperating with a wide range of departments to make sure our partners are successful on Wolt.
Using data to help optimize venue performance by improving key metrics.
Perform frequent quality and satisfaction checks to ensure service standards.
Conducting renegotiations with our top accounts.
Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with retail partners.
Setting KPIs for the local Retail Team and providing performance feedback.
Creating a positive work environment that enables the team to develop.
Leading by example in terms of demonstrating Wolt values and behaviours.
Our humble expectations
Solid experience from a previous key account management role.
Leadership skills developed in previous management positions are nice to have
A positive ‘can do’ attitude, awesome self-motivation and the ability to get results
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt tone to suit the audience.
Experience from using analytics platforms or strong Excel skills.
Structured, detailed and service-oriented.
Passion for food and developing the best restaurants in town.
Experience from working with a CRM system is a plus.
Fluent in Czech and English.
